The 2011 SWOOPs, the Southwest Ohio OPS weekend will be held Sept 30-Oct 2…The weekend will be an opportunity to operate some of the finest model railroads in the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Springfield Ohio area.
The event is in conjunction with the Cincinnati Division 7 of the NMRA’s Mid-Central Region and OpSIG. Organizers are Division 7 members, while layout owners are both Division 7 members and Division 3 members.
Registration opens on August 10th.
Participation does not require NMRA nor OpSig membership. The operating sessions are layout viewings. It is not acceptable for participants to bring unregistered parties to the operating sessions. A participant is expected to attend and operate at all operating sessions that they have registered to attend. Failure to participate could impact the enjoyment of others.
